About Us

Randall and Christa Trevino have been dreaming about their own training program for as long as they can remember. Randall grew up in south Texas where he learned horsemanship and how to train a great rope horse under the guidance of his grandpa Sylvester Carnevale, and his uncle Silver Carnevale. He lived, slept, and dreamed everything roping. When he graduated high school he got the opportunity to intern under Chris Cox. A once in a lifetime opportunity that he will cherish forever! It’s where he met Christa. Christa grew up just outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her passion for horses is absolutely unparalleled! She grew up ranching, riding, and absolutely adoring every horse she came in contact with. It wasn’t until her internship with Chris Cox that she was introduced to the performance horse world and she has never looked back since. From the moment she first saw the reined cowhorse she was completely transfixed and knew with utmost certainty that is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Fast forward to today and Randall and Christa have achieved that dream of running their very own performance horse program specializing in reined cowhorses, ropehorses, and colt starting. No dream or goal is too small for them. If you have a goal you’re wanting to obtain with your horse, Randall and Christa will do whatever they can to help you obtain it!

Corazón Performance Horses got its name from Randall’s incredible grandma, Sydney Carnevale. One evening about six years ago, Randall and Christa came inside to Mamaw’s delicious dinner from a long day of working horses and she said you guys sure put “all heart” into those horses, “todo corazón” and we knew right away that was gonna be our name forever. It truly encapsulates everything we stand for. Training horses, giving lessons, and competing at a top level is no easy feat. It requires immense dedication, an unbelievable work ethic, and definitely all of your heart in order to be successful. Randall and Christa strive to emulate each one of those characteristics and more. They would be more than honored to have you bring your horse in for training, join them for a lesson, or just come out for a visit! If you’d like to hear more about their program, call Randall at (830)-480-2888, or Christa at (720)-331-2300. Thank you endlessly, and “todo corazón!”
